The confectioner who makes Khajla tells Local 18 that 10 Khajla are made from 1 kg of flour, which are first fried in refined oil, puffed and then dipped in sugar syrup and given different shapes. There are different types of this itch, which include khoya based itch, salty itch, sweet itch, pale itch and their rates are also different. The rate of Khoya Khajla is Rs 240 per kg, the rate of salty Khajla is Rs 160 per kg and the rate of sweet Khajla is Rs 120 per kg. Whereas the rate of pale Khajla is Rs 100 per kg. People like this sweet a lot on the occasion of fair.
